Welcome to the Stentorians of Los Angeles County, where our mission is to make a positive impact through compassion, dedication, and community support.

Our Mission

The Stentorians of Los Angeles County aims to promote equality and opportunity for the recruitment, retention, and upward mobility of African Americans in the Fire Service.

Our Story

The Stentorians were founded in 1954. In 1990, the organization restructured into two chapters: The Stentorians of Los Angeles County and The Stentorians of Los Angeles City.  Over the years, we've grown thanks to our 500 members, supporters and the lives we've touched.

What We Do

From firefighter training to scholarships to toy drives, we run a range of community-focused programs. Every initiative is fueled by donations and volunteer efforts.
